HR Business Partner, France

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) for France at LHH, you will be a key member of the French LHH Leadership team and the French HR Leadership team, responsible for aligning HR strategies with the business objectives and strategy of LHH. You will collaborate with country leadership and global HR teams to drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. You will also ensure compliance with local labour laws whilst supporting LHH's global HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities

 Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership in France, offering guidance and HR solutions that support LHH’s business objectives.
  • Implement HR strategies that align with both global policies and local business needs.
  • Provide insights into local labour market trends and help shape global HR initiatives with country-specific knowledge.

Talent Management:

  • Ensure that LHH attracts, develops, and retains top talent in France.
  • Oversee onboarding, performance management, and career development initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Facilitate leadership development and succession planning to ensure future leaders are prepared to drive LHH’s success.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Handle employee relations matters, ensuring adherence to French labour laws and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Drive employee engagement through regular feedback, surveys, and targeted programs aimed at improving employee satisfaction.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to foster a culture of belonging within LHH France.

Performance Management:

  • Lead performance management processes, including setting goals, conducting reviews, and offering feedback.
  • Partner with managers to address performance challenges, ensuring alignment with LHH’s performance-oriented culture.
  • Implement development plans to support employee growth and organisational success.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all French labour regulations and company policies.
  • Keep abreast of changes in local employment laws and incorporate necessary updates into HR policies and practices.
  • Partner with legal teams to mitigate risks and ensure the business is operating within regulatory frameworks.

Organisational Development & HR Projects:

  • Lead organisational development initiatives to optimize team structure, efficiency, and growth.
  • Support global HR initiatives and projects, adapting them to meet the specific needs of the French workforce.
  • Drive change management efforts during organisational transitions, ensuring alignment with global strategies.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between employees, leadership, and global HR teams to ensure seamless communication and implementation of HR priorities.
  • Facilitate communication with social partners, including unions and employee representatives, to maintain positive labour relations.
  • Participate in global HR discussions and projects, providing valuable insights from the French market.

HR Reporting & Analytics:

  • Use HR data and metrics to track the effectiveness of HR strategies and priorities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on key HR activities, such as employee engagement, recruitment, and performance.
  • Leverage analytics to make data-driven decisions that enhance HR effectiveness.

 

All About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with a strong background in an HRBP role within a global organization.
  • Deep knowledge of French labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and influence business decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both French and English.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global environment.
